Biddulph Folk Club Presents:

Janet Russell with James Berriman
and
Sue Moffatt

This concert promises some first-class vocal performances accompanied by guitars, Appalachian dulcimer, and fine and controlled fiddle playing.

Janet Russell is known to many on the folk scene for her interpretation of Scottish traditional material, but also for her "challenging and charming" presentation of humorous and poignant material about today's social and environmental issues.

James Berriman and Sue Moffat draw their repertoire from a wide range of folk, blues and traditional sources. Sue plays the fiddle with subtlety, fire and conviction, and conjures up atmospheric moods which complement James' soulful voice and tasteful guitar work. The combination breathes new life into some tremendous songs.
